Welcome to the clubhouse of mickey mouse.... (Lesson 6 and 7)

“Animation is the illusion of life. And you can’t create it if you don’t have one”.

-Brad Bind

The influence of animation characters in the mind and hearts of the students can’t be denied. Generations after generation the animation characters have made their presence felt in all walks of our life. Be it Mickey mouse or Donald Duck or any other animation cartoon character we feel a kind of special bond with them. They become a part of life. Knowingly or unknowingly they become our best friends too.  Our closest companions of childhood. If the cartoon characters could be brought into the class then it will truly be wonderful for the students. The excitement and happiness they felt when they see the pictures or are able to identify them were very evident. It is the best source for developing the basic skills of language too. Using cartoon characters as an aid a teacher can create wonders in the class. the main benefit is that they are able to identify with it and get involved. It’s almost like having your favourite IPL team and supporting it. You associate with your favourite characters and speak on their behalf. That’s what happened the day. I feel thankful to the magical creators of such animation characters for making my class different and interesting.
