“Here Hyacinths of heavenly blue, shook their rich tresses to the morn”.

-James Montgomery

Model of Hyacinth flowers

When the students were asked to name the Nightingale they came up with the acronym ‘BB Bird’- Beautiful Brown Bird. From that class onwards we had a pet name for the beautiful Nightingale. What a teacher writes on the blackboard of life can never be erased. The ultimate aim of any teacher is to make the students fall in love with the art of learning. They should see learning as something that gives them happiness and not as a laborious task that causes pain, exhaustion, and boredom. To suit the purpose teaching aids, activities and games have a great role to play. With that, the teacher could increase the retention ability of the students and create in their minds a spark for learning and knowledge. Then only the teaching will be effective.
